So I finally decided to go with Primus for my VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) service, and I got the phone adapter today. It took me a couple of hours, but I got my whole place wired up (had lots of help from the existing wiring) with Primus. Now, when they do the change on the 1st of August (one week or so from now) I'll be ready to have all my phones already on the Primus line!
Although it is the same number, I do have both services running. Primus right now is only outgoing calls, since Bell is receiving the calls till the change, but its a pseudo double line for the week, lol.
I'll post back with my review on how it went, the installation was a snap ... although primus is detecting a line quality error (loss of data) that is preventing me from using a fax. You bet I'll be checking up on that over the weekend, getting that fixed ASAP! :)
